Vesta MAUCH
The discovery of Pilates and Ashtanga Yoga was not predestined for Vesta Mauch
After a well-established and flourishing career devoted entirely to contemporary art, she opened a gallery in the heart of Berlin’s art scene. After suffering from severe scoliosis, Vesta Mauch discovered the Pilates method. Without realizing it, it was the start of a new life.
In 2014, she began practicing yoga at Ashtanga Berlin and decided to travel to Mysore, India, to study at KPJAYI (Kri Patthabi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute). She had the honor of meeting Sharath Jois. Originally intending to stay for a month, she stayed for three months, then returned to Mysore every year to study with Sharath Jois.
In December 2014, Sharath Jois granted her permission to teach the primary Ashtanga Yoga series.
Vesta Mauch opened a yoga and pilates center in Geneva and then in Montreux, Switzerland. For over a decade, she has guided her students on profound journeys of self-transformation, teaching them the beauty and power of Pilates and Ashtanga Yoga…
Read here her story to understand her transformation.
